Volunteering your Time

• Being a teacher aid and actively working with the kids
• Interaction with parents
• Administration work - book keeping, accounting, fees collection
• Online work - updating Facebook fanpage, writing newsletters, updating website

What Marhaba can offer its volunteers

• Provision of a clear job description
• Provision of a good, safe and fun working environment; the least we can do is provide you with a pleasing atmosphere ;)
• Issuing a certificate or a recommendation letter citing the number of hours volunteered at Marhaba
• Provide training for use of our educational resources and orientation to enable adequate involvement
• Opportunity to garner Allah's satisfaction and reward

What Marhaba expects from a volunteer

• Dynamic and self motivated with a lot of creativity
• Having a passion for doing work towards the Islamic community
• Strongly committed to any task assigned and very punctual
• Friendly and can work in a multi-tasked environment
• Fluency in Arabic (preferred but not a must)
